HND Pharmaceutical Science

Overview

A multi-disciplinary programme exploring exciting developments across the chemical, biological and biomedical sciences. The curriculum emphasises the biochemistry, pharmacology, design, analysis and delivery of pharmaceutical substances.

Graduates emerge as high-quality pharmaceutical science diplomates, equipped with the theoretical knowledge and practical competencies for careers in pharmaceutical and laboratory-based scientific fields.

Entry Requirements

• ✓WASSCE: aggregate 42 or better — grades A1–C6 in three core subjects (English, Mathematics, Integrated Science) and A1–E8 in three relevant electives.
• ✓SSSCE: aggregate 27 or better — grades A–D in the three core subjects and A–E in three relevant electives.
• ✓Mature applicants without the minimum qualification but with relevant experience may apply, subject to an entrance examination and interview.
• ✓International applicants: qualifications evaluated by WAEC; proof of English proficiency required for non-English-speaking applicants.
