You'll need

  • Be medically fit (no age limit) and committed to specialised nursing practice.
  • Hold one of the following: Diploma in Registered General Nursing (RGN), Diploma in Midwifery, Registered Mental Health Nursing, or a Bachelor's/Master's degree in General Nursing or a nursing-related field.
  • Be a graduate of an accredited nursing institution.
  • No prior work experience or current PIN required.

The Medical Laboratory Technology programme offers a robust curriculum designed to prepare students for a dynamic and impactful career in medical laboratory science.

You'll need

  • WASSCE: aggregate 42 or better — grades A1–C6 in three core subjects (English, Mathematics, Integrated Science) and A1–E8 in three relevant electives.
  • SSSCE: aggregate 27 or better — grades A–D in the three core subjects and A–E in three relevant electives.
  • Mature applicants without the minimum qualification but with relevant experience may apply, subject to an entrance examination and interview.
  • International applicants: qualifications evaluated by WAEC; proof of English proficiency required for non-English-speaking applicants.

A two-year programme that provides students with the basic knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to enter the healthcare system as a Medical Laboratory Technician.

  • Mature applicants with relevant experience may apply and sit an entrance examination and interview.
  • International applicants: qualifications verified by WAEC and proof of English proficiency.
  • All applicants complete an interview and selection process.
