Overview
The Medical Laboratory Technology programme offers a robust curriculum designed to prepare students for a dynamic and impactful career in medical laboratory science. It balances classroom instruction with practical application across diagnostic techniques, blood analysis, disease investigation and tissue examination.
Students build competency in laboratory operations and gain exposure to health education and occupational safety within real healthcare environments.
Entry Requirements
- ✓WASSCE: aggregate 42 or better — grades A1–C6 in three core subjects (English, Mathematics, Integrated Science) and A1–E8 in three relevant electives.
- ✓SSSCE: aggregate 27 or better — grades A–D in the three core subjects and A–E in three relevant electives.
- ✓Mature applicants without the minimum qualification but with relevant experience may apply, subject to an entrance examination and interview.
- ✓International applicants: qualifications evaluated by WAEC; proof of English proficiency required for non-English-speaking applicants.
