HND Dispensing Technology

Overview

The Dispensing Technology programme delivers a thorough understanding of dispensing techniques, pharmaceutical chemistry, quality control and the practical skills essential for the effective management of pharmacy operations. Students engage with both theory and hands-on training across hospital and laboratory settings.

Graduates are prepared for diverse roles in pharmacies, hospitals and pharmaceutical companies — contributing to efficient medication management, patient care and advancements in pharmacy technology.

Entry Requirements

• ✓WASSCE: aggregate 42 or better — grades A1–C6 in three core subjects (English, Mathematics, Integrated Science) and A1–E8 in three relevant electives.
• ✓SSSCE: aggregate 27 or better — grades A–D in the three core subjects and A–E in three relevant electives.
• ✓Mature applicants without the minimum qualification but with relevant experience may apply, subject to an entrance examination and interview.
• ✓International applicants: qualifications evaluated by WAEC; proof of English proficiency required for non-English-speaking applicants.
