School Donates Equipment

Marking Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the School donated hospital equipment and materials to the Kintampo Municipal Hospital — continuing an annual tradition of giving back to the community that hosts and supports our institution.

The donation included medical supplies, laboratory equipment, and other essential materials that the hospital identified as priorities for improving patient care. This initiative reflects the school’s commitment to community service and the values of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., after whom the institution is named.

Representatives from both the school and the hospital spoke at the handover ceremony, emphasising the importance of strengthening the partnership between health education institutions and healthcare delivery facilities.

“This is not just about giving materials,” said a school representative. “It’s about living our values and showing our students what service to the community looks like in practice.”

The annual donation is part of the school’s broader community engagement programme, which also includes the road adoption initiative and regular health outreach activities in surrounding communities.
